This is one of the most difficult things for a compulsive gambler. How do I refrain from gambling. A gambler must tell themselves thousands of times "I will not gamble today". Unfortunately this is not enough for the compulsive gambler.

Maybe the surprising thing here is that I don’t feel I have the urge

or need to gamble anymore but this maybe because I don’t have any money

to do so and the actual fight for survival is my friend in some

strange way.

I guess the truth will be known when I actually get some money under my

 belt and the test will be then and then only I guess.

I don’t visit any gambling websites or I don’t visit any bookmakers, actually I don’t

actually do anything for the time being.

It is apparent to me that my life is in limbo.
